We see a lot of mule deer at the ranch but it's pretty rare to see a fawn. We actually saw 2 babies all spotted up, but the 2nd one took off into the scrub brush before I could snap a picture.

I just wanted to say hello and that I am in complete awe of your photography talent, bird "nerdiness" (I keep a bird book on my kitchen table), and UNBELIEVABLE life on the ranch in Colorado. Your photos are such a wonderful keepsake for your family. You have such an eye! I have aspirations of learning more about photography.
My husband could hardly look at some of your camping and ranch shots because he is so jealous. (Oh, and he is in love with your dogs, too!) I was just talking with Cherie recently about our dream of moving to Colorado. We would love to make it a reality if we could just get my parents on board. They grew up in Ohio and are very happy with their warm decision to live in Texas :)
