Tifah & Reid's Wedding

Tifah & I have been steadfast friends since Jr. High School. She introduced Ryan & I and was bridesmaid in our wedding 4 years ago. This past weekend I was honored to stand up for her as she & Reid took their vows! It was a packed weekend of sewing, flower arranging, and the occasional game of "Name this 80's hit/movie theme song." It was so fun to celebrate with everyone!Although being in the wedding relieved me of my photographer duties, I was elated when Tifah asked if I would tag along with their photographer Ryan Booth to take photos of her & Reid after the ceremony. To see more picture of Tifah & Reid. . . visit the Katie Jenkins Photography Facebook Page.
The reception was at the Louisville Park... dancing, lots of laughs, and catering by Chick-fil-A! Amazing! What a great time!! I am so happy for Tifah! I honestly couldn't have hand-picked a better guy for her! Reid is so great! Both of them, along with Dann Stockton, make up the band The Autumn Film. Their sound is amazing! Little Fawn

We see a lot of mule deer at the ranch but it's pretty rare to see a fawn. We actually saw 2 babies all spotted up, but the 2nd one took off into the scrub brush before I could snap a picture.

Our Anniversary Camping Trip

Every year around our anniversary Ryan and I go on a camping trip. This year we brought along our new white water raft! That's right we're boat owners now! We camped on a island in the middle of Long Draw Reservoir. It was amazing... like car camping without the car and the crowds! The dogs had the time of their lives swimming, chewing sticks, & chasing birds. Ryan fished (of course) and I napped in the sun and read by the camp fire.

Happy 4th of July

Good friends, good food, good fireworks. Happy 4th everyone!

Celebrating 4 Years

Ryan and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary on Thursday. We had a great day together including our annual Jay's Bistro dinner. The food was spectacular... they have the most amazing creme brulee in the country - my favorite. We feel so blessed to have each other!

What doin'??

Ollie is 2 1/2 now and never ceases to entertain us! His favorite phrases are "What doin'?" and "Crash!" ...everything crashes from hot wheels to play dough. If you could bottle his energy, I have no doubt that we could power the city of Fort Collins - perhaps even the state of CO. But his sweet spirit surpasses his energy level (99% of the time) with his amazing hugs, endless thank you's, and willingness to share cooks (aka. cookies) with everyone he knows. Ryan & I are so proud of our nephew! We can't wait to meet the newest Roloff addition in November.

They Flew the Coup

So... sadly enough, our wren family made out like bandits in the night. I woke up one morning and they were gone. But the good news is that we have available real estate now. As of today, it looks like we have new neighbors.

Samuel's First Camping Trip

Last Monday night, Jolly, Cherie, Ryan, & I took Samuel on his first camping trip. He had a great time eating dirt & pine cones. Jolly made a huge fire (as usual). We saw moose for days. It was a grand ole time!Uncle Rudy introduces Samuel to the river. I have a feeling they will spend many more days enjoying the river together.
