Bangs!!

So I finally took the plunge. I've been talking about getting bangs since Christmas and the scissors came out this afternoon. I tip my hat to UTube for their "How to cut your own bangs" videos. Yes... I'm that cheap!!!

Brett & Brandi Visit

Ryan's cousin Brett & his wife Brandi stopped through and stayed with us for a couple days. We enjoy their company so much! We all went down to the North Fork and the boys fished while Brandi & I chilled... literally. (I know, I know.. dorky joke!) Brett & Brandi are expecting a baby boy at the end of June. We are excited to meet the little tyke... whom we refer to as Brettrick 2.

Celebrating Ryan's Birthday

Last week we went up to Copper Mountain to celebrate Ryan's 28th birthday. Jolly, Cherie, and Samuel came up and spent the night with us on Tuesday.. and then on Wednesday night Ryan's cousin Brett and his wife Brandi stopped through. We had such a wonderful time riding fresh powder and enjoying our family.

Brianna's Baby Shower

On Friday we had a baby shower for my close friend Brianna. Brianna & Jon are expecting a baby girl in April. We are so excited for them and we can't wait to meet their new little one! Above: Me, Bree, Brianna, Nicole, Amy, & Libby.

Samuel in his Johnny-Jump-Up

When Jolly was a little tike, his favorite thing was playing in his "Johnny-Jump-Up." Dad says that Jolly could entertain himself for hours just spinning and bouncing. So... my parents set out to find one for Samuel. On our recent trip to TX, we celebrated Christmas with my family... in February! Samuel got a "Sassy Seat" ...as they are now called. He loves it! It was so great to be together as a family last weekend.

Grandmama's 80th Birthday

Last weekend, Ryan and I were in Houston with my family celebrating my Grandmama's 80th birthday. It was such a special party. All of Grandmama's descendants came and we were able to celebrate Grandmama together. In true Johnson form, it was a production... Jolly did a devotional, Ryan & Cherie wrote a poem, Mark & Tommy sang while Corrie, Heather, Christina, & Katherine did backup dancing, Cindy, John, Pat, & my dad led a sing-song, Todd catered the event, and I put a slideshow together. It was so great catching up with everyone. I am blessed with such a wonderful family! To view all of the photos, CLICK HERE for Smugmug & CLICK HERE for Picasa.
