Poppies are some of my favorite flowers. As all of you know, growing plants at the ranch has been a challenge to say the least. And these poppies have been one of my rewards! They seem to thrive here. The red one is my favorite. Cherie gave me a packet of seeds for christmas... It is a Flanders Poppy. The pink one is a Shirley Poppy. The white one is a Mexican Prickle Poppy. They grow wild in our field and the foliage looks similar to thistle. The yellow one is California Poppy - which is not a true poppy, but is beautiful nonetheless. Each plant is covered in happy yellow blooms.

oooo-aaaaah! So amazing those gorgeous blooms start off as tiny as a fleck of dust. God is incredible.
