Ryan took the dogs for their first jaunt down to the North Fork. They had a blast.. and almost got skunked. Seaman Reservoir is still covered in snow... but not for long.

My Garden
So.. last year (thanks to the rabbits) my garden was pretty much inexistant. Everything I planted was quickly devoured. So I am planning ahead this year. After much research, I purchased flower seeds that are "rabbit resistant" such as delphinium, liatris, oriental poppies, columbines... and the list goes on. I am also planting heirloom tomatoes, peppers, & herbs. Josh & Nicole gave me a grow light and "mini greenhouse" for Christmas... so as you can imagine I have already started my garden. My little seddlings are growing steadily.
Sunday Afternoon Hike
Yesterday after church we set out for the Poudre Canyon for an afternoon hike. The sky was the most amazing blue and the weather was great. We came across several mountain lion dens including the one below... but no mountain lions, thankfully!

Fly Tying at its Finest
Ryan's started tying some pretty amazing flies. He's gearing up for spring! The fly above imitates a wounded baby rainbow trout. Ideal for catching monster trout!
Jenna & Sophie
Today my cousin Corrie and her husband Sean came up to the Ranch to visit and I took some photos of the girls while they were here. Jenna & Sophie are such beautiful girls... and so uniquely different! Here are some of my favorites.
